
The Desert Botanical Garden is funded through the generosity of private funds, grants and membership support. Donor support helps maintain its diverse plant collection, continue its world-renowned research efforts and present its desert conservation and educational programs.
The Garden offers a variety of charitable giving opportunities. Your can show your support by purchasing a membership, responding to a special appeal, making a major gift, through event sponsorships and program funding or by making an endowment or planned gift.
MembershipThe Garden has membership giving levels–from $55 to $90–which include unlimited free admission, discounts on classes and workshops and a host of other Garden benefits. Memberships constitute the backbone of Garden support and provide a vital source of revenue for daily operations. A portion of your membership gift may be tax-deductible. Garden FundThe Garden Fund consists of giving levels–from $150 to $700–which includes unlimited free admission, discounts on classes and workshops, and a variety of other special opportunities. The Garden Fund recognizes those who give above and beyond basic membership support and encourages loyal members to increase their philanthropic support. Donors to the Garden Fund provide significant contributions to the Annual Budget. A portion of your donation may be tax-deductible. Patrons' Circle Major membership levels–from $1,250 to $25,000–which include unlimited free admissions for members and guests and a variety of other special opportunities and privileges. Patrons Circle donors represent the Garden’s most generous individual members and donor groups. Major gifts make it possible for the Garden to expand its unique plant collections, enhance its conservation and educational programs and provide world-class amenities and services to Valley residents and Garden visitors from around the world. Annual Fund
On occasion the Garden makes special appeals for gifts to support its annual operating fund. These “extra” gifts, above and beyond membership dues, further the Garden’s efforts to expand, study and care for its world-class collection, present exciting, new exhibits and provide family-friendly educational programs. Gifts may be in the form of cash or stock and may be tax-deductible. Desert Council Corporate Membership ProgramThe Garden has been partnering with businesses for more than 10 years. Sharing a mutual belief that the Garden adds to the quality of life in the Valley, these partnerships serve as an important investment in our community and help ensure future generations will have a place to visit that is touched by the magic of Mother Nature. Memberships range from $250 to over $20,000 and include many benefits such as free admission passes, invitations to special events, facility rental discounts, free employee day at the Garden and much more.
